New logo design for the beautiful estate, Walnut Hill Farm
I was so excited when I received the inquiry for Walnut Hill Farm in Virginia. They found me because of some of my vintage logo designs as well as the feminine laurel logos I had on display. I absolutely love estate / venue logo design and this client knew exactly what they wanted - a logo with a botanical branch or illustration that would represent the Walnut (trees) as well as their name of the estate, as well as a coordinating alternate logo mark that included a romantic laurel wreath and monogram. They wanted a script monogram which I used a variety of beautiful script fonts to put together some options.
They were in a hurry as they had a wedding at their venue coming up quickly so I didn’t get a chance to make as many mockup pictures as I normally would, but I love the choices I put together. Tree branches, leaves, and foliage are particularly beautiful to me!
At the end when we were wrapping up, they told me they actually have hundreds of peonies growing on their land. I wish I had known that from the start! I LOVE peonies and would have provided more options with them included, but I did love the branch by itself and I knew they were in a rush to get the branding pieces off to print. One of the things this client said to me was that it turned out exactly the way they envisioned! I absolutely love to hear that, as that is always my goal and not always the easiest thing to achieve since design is subjective. I love the way their logo turned out, it is simple yet beautiful with the vintage design in the artwork, romantic fonts and monogram, and soft shade of light walnut.

The botanical illustration options, was hard to decide which one to use! I prefer the client to decide which one is their favorite. I put together options that I find beautiful, and then they decide which one represents their brand the best.
I put added the final logo designs to some photos in case they wanted to share the exciting new design with friends, family, and social media. The walnuts in the photos are perfect!
